About Us

The Peace welfare Society has its specific approach in undertaking development programmes for the poor and rural People. It may be recalled that the rural and remote area people were culturally strong and they repose highest confidence on their cultural practices.In the contemporary situation of Information Technology and Faster Growth perspectives, one has to understand the value system prevailing in rural areas and then understand the current situation through that perspective.Then, it provides an opportunity to chalk safe path for development to the rural people.We maintain a brief record of traditional value system prevailing in different villagesreduce the important aspects out of it and undertake a dialogue with rural leadership for the right path to be adopted.This ensures participation from targeted group and penetration of development programmes. This variety has been the bastion of the organization in programmes undertaken by itself as well as in facilitating the development programmes sponsored by Government and other agencies.It is a Non-Governmental organization registered under Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act, 2001.The year 2005 vide Reg.No.1124/2005, working purely for upliftment of weaker sections.We presently are working in Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Anantapur and Rangareddy Districts. It is a Non-political and Non-profitable service oriented organization working for the poor and the needy people. The following activities are taken up by the organization from its inception: Peace Welfare Society is a platform partnering with various organizations to deliver services like Conducting Medical Camps (rural and remote areas) Organizing awareness camps Eye checkup camps in Government Schools/Hostels and rural and remote villages. Distributing spectacles to the defectives Conducting Eye surgeries (cataract) Providing Health Education Education support to the talented poor students. Support to the orphan homes/old age homes Support to the mentally challenged people Provide Blood and Eye donation The Peace Welfare Society riches systematized plans to cater Clear Eyes to School Children and motivate the people on importance of Eye and Health care. The Peace Welfare Society has conducted 282 medical camps and the Society cater its services to 2,68,000 people in various General Health checkups, treated especially 32,500 Eye problem patients i.e., (cataract, Glaucoma, Pterygium, Refractive errors, Trachoma, etc.,) in collaboration with the other organizations,global warming save nature programmes

The Society conducted audio-visual based eye and health-care awareness programmes with projector and documentary films be displayed to the children as a part of this programme. Educate them, how to protect their health, eyes and the proper diet to be taken.After the documentary, the students are allowed to interact with the faculty on a real time basis regarding various queries related to Eye problems and Control of Blindness.

Further, enhance the awareness on control of blindness among the children; The Peace Welfare Society has brought team of individuals working as query handlers.The Society is the first of its kind to organize free Eye checkups for Government Schools/Hostels, Orphan Homes, Old-age homes and remote, rural areas.


General Body: General Body of the organization is the highest decision making body of the organization and it meets once in a year to clear financial aspects, future endeavors, approach to funding agencies etc.,

Managing Body: Since the General Body is Omnibus in nature and it would be difficult to galvanize all the people frequently, a seven member Executive Body is constituted to oversee the day to day affairs of the organization.

Program Committee: In order to provide right direction to the organization, a research oriented program committee from among the members of Managing Body and General Body and also interested Academicians were drawn to consistently browse and analyze the problems and prospects in the operational areas and plan programs based on need assessment etc.,

Infrastructure: In terms of physical features, the organization operates from Hyderabad from its rented premises having a token training and office facilities.The rapport established by us in its operational areas enable it to procure requisite personnel in the field area.

Training infrastructure: The organization has the requisite facilities in terms of physical facilities required for public address system, furniture, model instruments etc.,

Personnel: A Three member office staff consisting of office supervisor, clerk and attendant looks after the day to day affairs at office.

Programme staff: Besides this, Field Staff consisting of Eleven Members viz., a chief Coordinator, Technical Officers, Legal Advisor, Social Work Officers and Coordinator. Honorary Field Staff at Village level has also been placed to render consistent supervision of work undertaken by the organization.

Financial Aspects: The organization has attracted the attention of local people through its committed work in the rural areas of Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Anantapur and Rangareddy Districts.Consequently, it attracts like-minded people who contribute voluntarily through donations and this has been so far the principal source of financial flow to the organization, besides the members’ contribution.

Chief Functionary: The chief functionary of the organization is Sri Boggu Suresh who is the founder and President of this organization. He is instrumental in establishing the organization.He is having a good track record of public life.He is the guiding force in adopting systematic approach and makes Peace Welfare Society distinct from other organizations in terms of its approach and application of ideas and innovative measures.
